Hi, I’m Xena. I’m an illustrator and writer who has been born, raised, and traumatized in Chicago. In 2020 during my undergrad, I translated my notes from therapy into a comic book (Thanks for Listening) which my fellow classmates would eventually read and receive well... so well that I felt safe to enjoy sharing what makes me feel. Disgusting, silly, immature, and everything in between. Some may lean towards a violent burn into sterile perfection but I think it’s probably a better idea to embrace our human flaws. Maybe you’re reading this because you need to find a reason to hate me but I’ll tell you we have a lot more in common than you’d like to think.
